LAYAIVoluntary participation
You choose whether to connect a computer and when to share its available resources. You can pause or stop sharing in the app, disconnect a device, or close your account. Android participation currently requires the app to remain open, with charging, battery, temperature and unmetered Wi-Fi safeguards. Use only a computer and account you are allowed to control. Participation does not require a purchase.
What the app does
When sharing is enabled, LAYAI Connect reports whether your device is available and may run a compatible, approved research task. The implemented task system supports bounded numerical work and model requests only where a suitable runtime has been explicitly configured. Tasks can use processor time, memory, network access and electricity. You set the available sharing controls in the app. A connected computer may receive no tasks at all.
Accounts and records
Your LAYAI account connects your app, devices and contribution history. Keep your sign-in methods and device access secure. The service records readiness, check-ins and accepted task results according to the published contribution rules shown in the app. A returned result can be checked for correctness, but this alone does not prove where or how it was computed. Contribution points and future rewards
Contribution points are a record of participation. They are not tokens, money, a redeemable balance, or a guaranteed right to an airdrop. Ready time has a daily cap; check-ins and accepted research tasks have separate rules and limits shown in the app. Fraudulent or duplicate activity may be rejected. Any future token distribution would need separately published eligibility, allocation and claim terms. No presale or token purchase is offered through LAYAI Connect.
Research stage
LAYAI is testing whether community computers can support useful AI research. The current implementation does not establish that a larger model can already be run across independent devices or that a particular research result will be achieved. Service interruptions, missing tasks and changes to available research tasks are possible. Material changes to participation rules will be described on the site or in the app.
